Privacy Policy

SMB Spark, LLC ("SMB Spark," "we," "us") runs smbspark.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers this website only. If you become a client, our written agreement with you governs information shared during the engagement.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact form, you give us your name and email address, and you may also give us your company or organization, website, timing, a topic and a message about your situation. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
- Information you give when booking a call. Our booking page is provided by Google Calendar. When you book, Google collects your name, email address and any answers you give in the booking form, and shares them with us.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time. It's used to run and secure the site.
We don't ask for payment information, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through this site. Please don't send sensitive personal information through the contact form.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and to discuss and evaluate a possible engagement
- To schedule and hold calls you book
- To run, maintain and secure the website
- To meet legal obligations
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't add you to a marketing email list unless you ask us to.
How we share information
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and the business, and only as they need it to do that work:
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact form submissions to our email
- Google (Google Workspace and Google Calendar), for email and appointment booking
- Lovable, which hosts the website
- AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Claude, that we use to help organize and respond to inquiries
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and it doesn't currently use analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy. Sites we link to, such as Google's booking page or LinkedIn, have their own policies and may use cookies.
Because this site doesn't track visitors across other websites, we don't change anything in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, to manage any resulting engagement and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, and then we delete them. Our service providers keep data according to their own policies.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing ding@smbspark.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor requests as the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Where information is processed
Information you submit may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and note significant changes on this page. This policy replaces the one that applied to the previous version of smbspark.com; earlier versions are available on request at ding@smbspark.com.
